Library Revamp

A shelf filled with books
As a librarian with many years’ experience in school libraries, and currently the librarian at the Flinders Council Library, Mim volunteered to assist us with reorganising our library.
During the week before school started, Mim spent two very busy days in the library, sorting through all the books and recommending which books were out-of-date or no longer suitable to keep.  Thus we have been able to cull a proportion of our books and free up some shelf space.  This enables the books to be less tightly packed on the shelves and so making it easier for the students to select books.
Thanks to Mim for her time and effort, and her well-founded recommendations.
New shelving in the library
In association with the library reorganisation we have installed another set of Dexion steel shelving to match the pre-existing library shelving.
Thanks to our team of flat-pack experts (Amanda, Linda and Courtney) for assembling the shelving.
